MOE Edusave Character Award(ECHA) 2024
What is ECHA?
MOE introduced the Edusave Character Award (ECHA) in 2012 to recognise students who demonstrate exemplary character and outstanding personal qualities through their behaviour and actions. It aims to foster an inclusive and stronger Singapore as we broaden the qualities and achievements to be encouraged and applauded. The award also supports schools’ continuing efforts in nurturing students of good values and character, who are active contributors and concerned citizens.
Award
Each ECHA awardee will receive a certificate and an award voucher of $500.
Eligibility Criteria
Nominees must be a Singaporean Citizen and satisfy the following eligibility criteria below

Students must, on a consistent basis, demonstrate good character and values, in particular, HS school values (Gratitude, Respect, Empathy, Adaptability, Trustworthiness).

Students are committed to serve the community regularly for at least 10 VIA Hours.

Students are nominated /endorsed by Character Coaches and/or subject teachers/ CCA Teachers.

Students’ nomination are supported by Parents/Guardians.

Students have attained overall conduct grade of Very Good or Excellent.

Nomination Period
Nomination is open from 8 July to 26 July 2024.
The results of ECHA will be announced in Dec 2024.
